First Date Tips For Finding Summertime Romance

It’s Summertime and there’s so much fun to be had.  But you’ll enjoy it so much more if you’re not doing a solo act.

 

 

Use my tried and true dating tips for increased success in meeting a great Summertime partner.

 

As a confirmed bachelor (at least so far), I will share some of most successful tips for the first date.  They are basically straightforward but people often forget to use them.

 

1.                  When you arrange a date, pick something you both would like to do that involves the opportunity to communicate, talk and laugh.  What about a nice lunch, dinner, picnic on the beach, outdoor fairs, etc.

 

2.                  Dress comfortably in clothes that make you look good and most importantly feel good.

 

3.                  Guys – use your best manners.  Don’t let your eyes wander.  Concentrate on one chase at a time.  Listen to your date and look her in the eyes but don’t undress her with your eyes.  Don’t get tipsy and if you do smoke, ask her if it’s OK with her.  And for goodness sake, don't try to rush intimacy.  Remember you have the whole Summertime to light up her romantic flame.

 

4.                  Keep the conversation topics positive.  Beware of getting carried away with controversial topics such as religion, politics, etc.  And stay away from sexual references and discussions about past relationships.

 

5.                  Ladies – don’t start fitting the guy for his wedding clothes.  Just sit back and enjoy his company and don’t forget to let him know that you had a good time (assuming that you did).  Also, watch out for those plunging necklines, hot pants and super short skirts – especially on the first date.

 

Most of all, guys and gals, relax and get to know one another.  Be open and honest with each other so that you will see if you are a good fit.  Just be yourself and resist trying to impress.

 

If you are more compatible than not, you would have acquired a partner to spend the Summer and maybe even longer with.
